Hello, I’m Dr. Michael Romiza, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and the founder of Won Life Physical Therapy and Wellness. I’m passionate about helping individuals achieve their optimal physical health, whether they’re recovering from injury, surgery, or seeking to enhance their overall well-being.

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA, graduating at the top of my class in 2018. To further elevate my clinical expertise, I became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 2021, and I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I continuously pursue advanced training in areas like blood flow restriction therapy and am a certified professional through the Titleist Performance Institute, expanding my ability to tailor treatment plans that are effective, innovative, and evidence-based.

With a strong background in both manual therapy and exercise science, I develop individualized treatment strategies that are designed to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re dealing with musculoskeletal pain, recovering from surgery, or looking to improve performance, my approach focuses on not just healing but empowering you to take control of your health and wellness.

I grew up on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula and feel privileged to serve this vibrant community. As an active individual myself, I understand the importance of movement and maintaining a high quality of life. Outside of my practice, you’ll find me running, golfing, playing basketball, or hiking with my wife and dog.
